Unthinkable Thoughts swam, stuck forever never to be free. Thoughts swarm haunting me, frightening me, dictating my life. There was a reason no one tells, they keep it secret tell no one, no one at all. Why would we tell if we told, no I won't tell. War is hard and grueling but worse is the memories the things I saw, the things I did. All forever stuck in my mind, there to torment me until the grave. [A/N] Written for a friend who requested a poem about a war veteran who was haunted by his memories. Written: March 2011
