Seasons

Signs everywhere, 
signaling the time of year.
Each month a slight change, 
four times a year, 
four different occasions.

Spring is for flowers and life.
Summer is a period of hot and swimming.
Fall is the time of harvest and colorful leaves.
Winter is for snow and Christmas trees.

Flowers, rain, greenery, 
and everywhere we see springs arrival.
The sights, the smells, 
and everywhere we see springs arrival.

Heat indexes, dry air, summer break, 
and everywhere we see summers arrival.
Growing season, late nights, sleepovers, 
and everywhere we see summers arrival.

Leaves falling, brightly colored, collected in piles, 
and everywhere we see falls arrival.
Darker nights, festive gatherings, jumping in leaves, 
and everywhere we see falls arrival.

Lights appear, trees go up, snowman forming, 
and everywhere we see winters arrival.
Snow falls, school stops, holiday joy, 
and everywhere we see winters arrival.
